Niagara Irish Festival 2023 Seeks Volunteers

The Niagara Irish Festival is preparing for its upcoming event in celebration of Irish culture and heritage. Our mission is to promote and preserve Irish culture through community events and ensure that the festival continues to thrive year after year. Our organization is run by a dedicated group of volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and talents, and we are seeking corporate sponsors to help make this event a success.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed corporate sponsors to support the following key roles for the Niagara Irish Festival:

Fundraising
Coordinate fundraising activities and update emails for donations with existing email databases. Assist with grant applications and bring new fundraising ideas to the table.

Sponsorships
Identify potential sponsors, both large and small, and solicit sponsorships for events as well as the Niagara Irish Festival. Stay in contact with sponsors to ensure they are aware of what is happening at the festival. Good networking skills required with local and regional businesses.

Volunteer Coordinator
Recruit and schedule volunteers for various jobs for the Niagara Irish Festival. Coordinate volunteers for other fundraising events, such as the Irish-themed dinner and raffle ticket sales. Personal vehicle necessary for distributing posters and rack cards around Niagara and beyond.

Concessions
Assist with vendor set-up and coordinate hydro needs.

Setup and Tear Down
Assemble stages, install flags, put up sponsor banners, set up gazebos, rope off dancer gazebo area, and complete park cleanup after the event.
